I’ve never had more fun on a photoshoot than with this dress. The tiered ruffles on the bottom of this dress plus the over laying panels that criss-cross in the front create so much movement. I couldn’t think of a better place to wear this dress than out in Old Town, San Diego. Old Town is full of old Spanish heritage, everything is colorful and cultured. Garrett and I grabbed dinner at one of the authentic restaurants and listed to a mariachi band. If you are ever in San Diego I highly recommend taking a day trip to Old Town, you’ll find unique artwork, delicious Mexican food and shops with all the candy and toffee you could ever want. It’s like being in a time capsule.
This dress took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to wear. Truthfully, I’m still not confident it’s on the right way but, it seems to work! The dress is a high to low maxi with a criss cross top and a slit in the back that goes all the way down to the tailbone. Due to the vibrancy of the dress I paired this look with neutral shoes, these shoes are one of the best purchase I’ve ever made, I love how detailed they are and how they wrap all the way up the ankle. This outfit is definitely going to be my go-to for fun summer nights out!
