Hi pretties! Thanks for checking out today’s post! I’m sorry my post schedule has been a little bit off recently. I think I may cut down to a M-W-F schedule instead of an every other day schedule. It’s not a huge difference but I think it will help me stay consistent and take some stress away. When I originally decided on my post schedule I had no idea how much work blogging was going to be. Combined with a full time work schedule I’ve been a little overwhelmed. I feel like I only have time to do the bare minimum, I really want to have more time to learn about the blogging world and market myself.
This week my sister was in town. It was fun to pretend to be a San Diego tourist for a few days! While we explored I (annoyingly) made Garrett and my sis take pictures of me everywhere. #bloggerproblems. Seriously though, how can anyone pass by stairs this cute and not take pictures?!!
I’ve always been on the fence about silk dresses/ slip dresses. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a little busty-er, but I often feel like I’m wearing lingerie when I try one on. Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels like they’re wearing a nightgown?!! This gorgeous dress from ZARA has a pretty floral print that makes it look more like daytime wear than nighttime wear. Unfortunately, since fall clothes have come out, I can’t find this exact dress on their website.
Silk dresses look very luxe and sexy. I recommend wearing them out for date night or when your headed to a fancy bar/club. Silk dresses without a pattern can look like a lot like bedroom wear so go subtle on the hair, makeup and accessories. It’s very important to not over do it! For my accessories I did a low, pale pink sandal from Nordstrom Rack, and a neutral metallic bag from Zara.
